Early life

Greetings. I am Esteban Flores, I'm excited to be running for the Office of State Senate. As a servant of the Most High, blessed husband, to my beautiful, precious wife. Proud and joyful Father of my beloved seven-year-old daughter. I am committed to serving the people of Tucson with integrity and dedication. Together, let us work to secure a brighter future for our children.

I am a native of South Tucson. I  grew up on 12th and Drexel. I am a product of the TUSD and Sunnyside public school districts, including Lynn-Urquides TUSD Elementary School. Until entering my junior year, I transferred to San Miguel High School. I am a graduate alumnus of San Miguel High School. I  studied at the University of Arizona for my undergrad in Nursing. Soon realizing nursing wasn’t my calling, I went on to pursue my purpose, serving my community in ministry and public service. I  sought this by graduating from Pima Community College with an Associate of Liberal Arts and General Studies, which I will use to help get my degree in Biblical Studies for full-time ministry. But now, I am grateful to seek out the other aspect of my calling: to serve my country through public service in my city and community. I love Tucson, my country, and my state, and I want to represent the families of Legislative District 21 with conviction, strong leadership, and love.

Education

I've been a Student at Pima Community College and the University of Arizona. I graduated with an Associate in Liberal Arts from Pima Community College.

Career

I have served in our community in several different forms. I have been a volunteer at the Gospel Rescue Mission. I have served as a Youth Pastor. I have helped many people in my city avoid things like colon cancer and many other gastrointestinal tract issues by serving as their technician during their endoscopic procedures in multiple medical facilities around town. I have served my community in the medical field in several different capacities as a technician, including, Anesthesia, Radiology, MRI, CAT scan, Medical Transport, and currently Endoscopy.  Presently, I am seeking to continue serving my community by pursuing the role of public servant through the elected office of Governing Board Member for the Tucson Unified School District.
